Recent Fused Glass Project
This recent fused glass project for a private house in Kent - the piece is approx 2.5mtrs across and 1.5mtrs high, fused glass on toughened glass panels. It has been installed on a galleried landing, opposite some very large skylight and other windows, so will benefit from a great deal of natural light. The final work has been mounted on 80mm standoffs, which will keep the glass away from the wall and allow beautiful coloured shadows to be cast against the wall. The design is the result of various discussions with the client who started with one theme and migrated to this bold modern design. The decor surrounding the piece is quite neutral and can handle the striking brightly coloured design.
